Watching: Jane Eyre (1996).
I wasn’t going to watch this one, but: here we are.
It is impressively boring, yo! I’m fairly well smitten with the 2006 mini-series and I can’t stand Zeffirelli as it is, so it’s not as though I had high hopes, but dang.
Actually, I buy William Hurt as Rochester; he’s working the hell out of what little this production provided, so...

Watching: The Great Gatsby (2000) Thus far (5 minutes in, mind) Paul Rudd makes a far less era-appropriate Nick than Sam Waterston. He’s not quite reserved enough. I like the noir-like music, though. (:
