“Knife (KEXP Version)” - Grizzly Bear / “Slang Tang” - Discovery
It’s the vocals gamboling around an echo-chamber thing that I like (and which these 2 songs do) so well.
(You didn’t ask, but after a number of attempts, what I’ve learned is that I don’t like Grizzly Bear. (I’m sure they’re lovely!) What I love is that KEXP version of “Knife”. Every so often, I let it run hours on end.
Not unlike Bon Iver’s “Woods” - I know, I know: not everyone likes (a) the repetition (b) the auto-tuning, but I love love that song.)
