Finger painting a portrait on the iPad (via DF)
I look forward to coming across someone sketching/painting on an iPad in a museum very soon. I’d also like to see:
- iPads hung on a museum wall the replay the creation of a painting (like @ the end of Kassan’s video)
- somehow-linked iPads & Apple displays where people can watch a painting happen while the artist is elsewhere.
! That is so cool. I was never a fan of the turning pages metaphor as extended to things other than, well, things with pages and I really like when apps embrace the environment they’ve got.
2 things:
- I’m terribly curious to see a book with maps in iBooks. Thus far they’ve been so small and poorly-zoomable as to be useless on the Kindle.
- Does that background music seem familiar? Guess what!

Jack Bauer will want to return for another season of 24 just so he can download schematics and track vehicles on it. Bond will have one. Jason Bourne will have one. Some character, in a Tron like way, might even be trapped in one.
