Well that looks properly creepy, doesn’t it? Sweet. Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis outweigh the Portman-factor for me, so I’m definitely in.
I have very little affection (read: none) for the Beats. Mostly: they annoy me. I won’t pretend part of that isn’t due to the generally exasperating experience of the modern poetry class in which I was introduced to the Beats in college, but my furrowed brow remains.
That said: I’d like to see this; maybe it’ll break that association for me so I can appreciate the work.
Azureus Rising - Proof of Concept (via Bixby)
(720p, full screen, headphones)
Can that please be a movie? I would totally watch that movie. Okay, the hair is a little distracting (hee, when did Sonic get so tall?) but overall? That is sweet!
(The poorly kerned “UR” in the title made me twitch a little.)
The Last Airbender (via Bryce)
!!
Also: I really like the update to Aang’s arrows, getting their Air Nation symbol in there, very nice.
Robin Hood in the style of Gladiator by Ridley Scott with Maximus and Cate Blanchett?!
Obviously: I’m in.
(That music, though, made me laugh so loud I think I startled a few co-workers.)
So. This will proooobably have the typical rom-com French Kiss-twist! ending, but c’mon Amy Adams and Matthew Goode? I’m in.
He doesn’t want to be bailed out of anything (I hope he actually learned to throw that punch).
(a) not sure about Brosnan’s accent, there; (b) how adorable are de Ravin and Pattinson? Aw. (c) Chris Cooper kind of scares me…
Clash of the Titans teaser trailer
Oh yes! That looks like a popcorn movie at its finest (and most ridiculous).
Titans will clash? Really? Come on, you can do better than that. Geez.
That might be the best trailer I’ve seen all year. That’s a whole lot of awesome for one film (and “Mad Men’s” production designer, to boot!). I’m in.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
That looks quite fun!
Love that this trailer is mostly long shots (well, for a trailer, anyway) and the cuts don’t get crazy until the music does near the end.
On another Terminator note, I find the bare metal skulls kind of terrifying. The end of whichever trailer it is where the face comes up out of the L.A.-landscape? Just no.
